The characters who inhabit this series of landscapes by Anne Laval are all women (there is also a little girl): whether they face the viewer or seem to be dreaming about their lives, whether they are holding a stick or smoking a cigarette, whether they are wearing trousers or a colourful dress, a hat or scarf, a parrot or a quiver, they all anchor the landscape and the gaze.
Each one is in their place, at the starting (or finishing) point of their own adventure and all that remains is to invent it.
"My characters are not tiny, it's the world that is big," said Sempé.
Nos tirages sont réalisés sur commande en impression jet d’encre pigmentaire. Cette technique confère à nos impressions une très grande résistance au temps et une incroyable restitution des couleurs.
Les affiches sont imprimées sur un papier couché mat premium de 180 g/m2.
Les tirages Fine art sont réalisés sur 2 types de papiers, au choix de l’artiste:
• Canson Rag Photographique 210 g/m2, un papier ultra lisse.
OU
• Hahnemühle William Turner 190 g/m2, un papier texturé.
Ces 2 papiers sont 100% coton, de qualité musée, sans acide et sans OBA (Optical Brighteners Agent / désignation anglaise des azurants optiques), répondant aux exigences les plus élevées en matière de conservation.

Anne Laval
From her birth in Papeete in 1979, her first trip, it seems that Anne Laval has retained the desire to go to sea and a certain taste for flamboyant colors.
Since graduating from HEAR (Haute École des Arts du Rhin) in Strasbourg, Anne has been drawing (and writing) books, posters, and series of images that are displayed in group or solo exhibitions.
