This is what Arterritoires is about...

Through a unique selection of international artists, Arterritoires has set itself the mission of challenging and moving people, offering everyone the opportunity to enjoy the essential experience of encountering a work of art.

A civic, cultural and social project
based on the following principles:

• We have imagined exhibitions presented in the form of poster campaigns, to be displayed outdoors or indoors, at a very reasonable cost.

• We offer high-quality prints in limited editions at prices that are affordable for everyone.

• We bring together established and emerging artists who are keen to reach new audiences.

• We feature international artists selected by a rigorous and eclectic committee.

• We provides artists with royalties for each sale of an exhibition or a reproduction.

• Arterritoires can be a tool for creating a tailor-made cultural programming*

* subscription packages, simultaneous exhibitions in different locations within the same region, etc.: please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your projects!

And this is who Arterritoires is made of...

• Arterritoires was created in 2020 by Marie Czapska, then artistic director of international art fairs and a curious and eclectic collector. Based in a rural area, specifically in the Vexin region in France, she came up with a simple, high-quality device to showcase artists' work to a population that does not have access to contemporary art, mainly because they live far from museums, foundations, galleries, and other exhibition spaces.

Using the technique of poster advertising, and thanks to facilities available in every town, such as election billboards, she developed exhibitions that were easy to install, consisting of eight posters, enabling small to medium size towns to provide free access to contemporary art for their inhabitants.

• To ensure optimal reproduction quality, she entrusts Gilles Laurent of I-Labo, formerly from Picto Bastille, with the task of digitizing the artists' works in a super high resolution. He is supported by other high-quality service providers all over France.

The selection committee chooses the artists who apply to our calls for projects.
The last committee was composed of:

> Vanina Pinter, art historian, teacher of graphic design history and theory at ESAD Le Havre Rouen, and exhibition curator.
> François Louvard, director of La Source, a social and educational association promoting artistic expression.
> Alexandra Roussopoulos, a Swiss-Greek artist.
> Grégoire Eloy, freelance photographer and member of the Tendance Floue collective.
> Antoine Perriol, art history researcher, publisher, and farmer in the Berry region.
> Marie Czapska and Séverine Levy Bourgois, founder and partner of Arterritoires.

And because Arterritoires respects our planet and its inhabitants, we print on FSC-certified papers manufactured without chemicals, our packagings are made from recycled materials, printing is done to order (no stock or waste), and the transporters and website host are committed to CSR.
