Practical information
Our printing media
The papers chosen for printing our exhibitions meet two essential criteria, among others: excellent color rendering and good durability.
• • Exhibitions intended for outdoor display are printed on high quality 130gsm blue-backed paper.
• For exhibitions intended to be presented indoors, we have chosen a semi-rigid 550gsm paper on which we apply a simple suspension system. These panels can therefore be hung from a simple nail or framed if they are in a slightly damp place.
Which format should I choose?
For outdoor exhibitions, the formats of our poster campaigns have been chosen to best adapt to the 'election' panels:
• Large exterior format (84 x 119 cm) for maximum impact. With 1 poster per panel, you will need 8 in total.
• Small exterior format (63 x 93 cm) to be able to place two posters on the same panel... and therefore only have four panels to install.
• Interior (50 x 70 cm): 8 panels to hang on 5 linear meters of free wall.
Outdoors, choose the large format if your billboards are large enough and the space chosen to display them allows some space.
Where to present an exhibition?
• • Outdoors: choose places for slow wandering and/or places with lots of traffic: in the city center, near schools, in a public garden or on a walking route... And if possible on flat ground!
• Indoors: reception hall, office, waiting room, dining room, meeting room, choose the best-lit space.
ATTENTION: If the space where you are presenting the exhibition is a little humid, we recommend purchasing 8 single frames of the same format (50 x 70 cm) to protect the prints.
How to glue an exhibition?
A technical sheet found on the page of each exhibition, in the tab "How to stick your posters?" is downloadable, and you will also receive it printed in your package, attached to the exhibition posters.
How to optimize the visibility of an exhibition?
That's on our Tips page.
And above all, don't hesitate to send us some photos so that we can communicate about your event through our social networks☺
How long can an outdoor exhibition last?
To put it simply: as long as the posters are in good condition!
But also: because we have chosen to print our posters on a very good quality 'blue back' paper that is thicker than average, our exhibitions can withstand the vagaries of the weather for 1 to 3 months if the gluing has been done correctly.
If you decide to extend the exhibition beyond this, we advise you to remain vigilant about the condition of the posters: it is better to 'take down' the exhibition if the paper curls too much, the edges come off, stains or scribbles appear, out of respect for the work of the artist presented, and... to quickly hang the next exhibition ;-)
