Each drawing in We Are Not Alone is a boundless dive into a teeming and offbeat universe, inspired by the contradictions, excesses and wonders of today's world: connected tribes, concerned networks, exhaustive maps, the hypnotic magic of fashion, contemplative territories, the joys of light and plant fantasies...
But all this is only a tiny part of the reality.
The three artists of the Ensaders collective met in 2003 at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Their friendship and artistic complicity gave rise to shared images: they drew simultaneously and blended their lines on the same medium, in the studio or during public performances.
Their style evokes both the architectural motifs and labyrinthine structures of MC Escher, the colorful dreamlike compositions of Hervé Di Rosa or lowbrow art with which they share the ability to reinterpret the codes of so-called "popular" media, such as comics, graffiti, advertising or cartoons.
