In his painting, color and the trace-gesture are the dynamics of exploration and experimentation which open up fields of research (commonly called series).
By painting nascent worlds, present or vanished, often traversed by the vitality of an active nature, Annick Mischler questions the being-there, the presence defined by what it has of transient but also immutable. Exploring founding myths - " this form of story that we tell to tell ourselves ", the artist never ceases to capture their dynamic resonances, always producing new forms.
Discovered by the Serpentine Gallery in Paris, Annick Mischler was then supported by the Edgar Gallery, the Dufay/Bonnet Gallery, and the Continuum Gallery. Her work has been presented at fairs, at St-Art, and at the AAF Paris. In 2019 and early In 2020, she exhibited at the Galerie Mondapart in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine).
