Momentos juntos*
Exhibition available in 2 formats for outdoor use and 1 format for indoor use.
“Who are we when we are only with ourselves?
What are we alongside another?
Who would we be if we didn't have someone to share who we are with?
Can we be ourselves without another to reflect our image back to us? Can the other truly know us completely?
Can we know ourselves completely?
During the successive lockdowns we have experienced, our need for others has been exacerbated.
I believe that we are a construction of moments, experiences and time lived with the people who share our existence.
We feed off each other to build experiences that, though fading in time and space, transform and shape who we are as human beings.
Painting these *'Moments Together' is for me a way of making visible what might go unnoticed, what is so familiar and everyday to us. I like the idea of showing what seems trivial to us and yet is part of our intimacy, which helps define who we are: the objects that surround us, the places we frequent, our homes, our families.
Painting those around me is definitely a way to know myself better. By painting them, I know their gestures, their features, their clothes even better. I recognize myself, and I like to think that someone else can do it too.

Florencia del Fabbro
Florencia Del Fabbro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1988.
Primarily acrylic, her paintings deal with everyday life and the existential issues that affect human beings. Through the simple representation of moments of great banality, she strives to capture worlds and stories, "what is hidden and the universe that exists behind a person, a fact or a thing."
