"In the forest, I took a series of photos that simultaneously show those who share this space. The photos were taken exclusively using camera traps. These devices capture the animals passing through for a month. Then, the same camera in the same place captures my passage.

All the photos are taken at night. Because at night, animal activity is denser. Because at night, when I go to the shooting locations, I am afraid, I jump at the slightest noise and feel the anxiety of the prey. Because at night, my cameras operate with black light which homogenizes the lighting and causes reflection of the eyes (called Tapetum Lucidum). A very limited digital manipulation erases the time difference between our passages. This series shows that the forest is a common space and that interactions are permanent. It questions the interspecific relationship and invites us to leave a logic of predation to point out that we live in symbiosis. At the very least, to admit that in this place, I am no more legitimate than a deer.
