Thierry Ardouin works on the links that Man maintains with his environment ("Pinhole Surveillance", "Portrait of Seeds"), the way in which he transforms it ("Nada"), the imprints he leaves there ("Beijing, Clean City"), the new landscapes he creates ("The Franchised City").
Thierry Ardouin thus observes the impact of human beings on their planet, which is increasingly disconnected.
The use of rare and ancient techniques and formats, such as pinhole, microphotography, view camera or cyanotype, allows him to fully restore time to time.
Thierry Ardouin is co-founder of the Tendance Floue collective.
