Caroline Dahyot

Born in 1968, Caroline Dahyot received - as if out of step - a strictly religious education. From this experience, she drew a marked rejection of authority and the feeling that things were done outside of her control.

Not escaping mysticism, she says she grants her work the power to achieve what she dreams of and doubts she will ever be able to achieve: "My house is filled with words everywhere.... to keep us from drifting, to protect us, to show me the way...".
